Tom Brady throws shade at Cowboys, Dak Prescott
The NFL legend will be on the call in Week 1.
It's now official - the Dallas Cowboys will open Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season on the road by taking on the Cleveland Browns at Paycor Stadium.
And on the call behind the microphone will be none other than the legendary Tom Brady, who is starting the next phase of his football career as the Fox network's lead in-game NFL analyst.
After a lively introduction by Michael Strahan, Brady couldn't resist poking a little fun at the Cowboys, particularly quarterback Dak Prescott.
“Obviously having the Cowboys on is a huge draw, as America’s team,” Brady said. “That’s gonna get a little hard for me to say that all the time. I understand. They were the competition for a long time, but in this new role, I know the Cowboys, how important they are to this network. They’ve got great storylines. Come on, Dak Prescott, let’s see if he can finally come through.”
“Did that just slip out?” Brady asked.
