The Dallas Cowboys welcomed back an old friend this afternoon at AT&T Stadium, as Ezekiel Elliott made his first appearance back as a member of the opposition since being cut by the team earlier in the offseason.
He eventually agreed to a free-agent deal with the New England Patriots, who happen to be the opponent for the Dallas Cowboys this afternoon. And prior to the game, Dallas honored Elliott with a video tribute that drew roaring approval from the sellout crowd.
Team owner and general manager Jerry Jones has already said that he would like to see Elliott enter the legendary Cowboys Ring of Honor after his career ends.
