Warren Sapp: Colin Kaepernick's Raiders workout was a “disaster”
This doesn't bode well for the former QB.

Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick is getting a chance to prove that he can still play at an NFL level, landing a workout with the Las Vegas Raiders. This came not too long after team owner Mark Davis said that he believed in the former quarterback and was willing to give him a shot.
But according to this review from NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp, Kaepernick's workout was anything but smooth.
“I heard it was a disaster. I heard it was one of the worst workouts ever. I’m wondering how the hell this happened and the tape didn’t get out, right,” Sapp explained during an interview on VladTV.
Of course, it wasn't too long ago that he participated a much-hyped workout in an attempt to make a return to the pro stage last year. And despite several teams reportedly showing interest, none took a waiver on him. He also missed out on a chance to join the XLF, as they balked at his reported salary demands.
Kaepernick became synonymous with social justice reform when, as a member of the San Francisco 49ers, knelt during the national anthem in 2016 to protest police brutality and social inequality. Kaepernick has not seen NFL action since January of 2017 with 49ers. He opted out of his contract in March 2017 and has has been a free-agent ever since.
