Bad news for the 49ers!
San Francisco 49ers star quarterback Trey Lance has been forced from this afternoon's game after suffering an ankle injury; he was carted off the field while wearing a cast.
ESPN insider Adam Schefter reports that the 49ers organization has confirmed he will not be returning to action today.
Jimmy Garappolo is now the QB on the field for the 49ers, who now lead 13-0 over the Seattle Seahawks with less than 10 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter.
