By now, it's widely known that Kansas City Chiefs' tight end, Travis Kelce, is linked with pop superstar Taylor Swift. She has been spotted at his games, often in a suite alongside his family, on multiple occasions. Moreover, they have been seen together numerous times.
The NFL is capitalizing on this association to the fullest, consistently keeping fans updated on their relationship and seizing every opportunity to showcase live shots of Taylor Swift or replay her reactions to the game's events.
And the Denver Broncos decided to take the opportunity to have a little fun at Kelce's expense this afternoon after they defeated him and the rest of his Kansas City Chiefs teammates at Empower Field at Mile High. Following the victory, which was Denver's first over the Chiefs since 2015, the stadium disc jockey played Swift's hit single "Shake It Off" in a not so subtle jab at the pair:
During the 24-9 loss, Kelce himself was held to six receptions for a total of 58 yards. The Chiefs are now 6-2 through eight games, while the Broncos were able to improve to 3-5.
Oh, and for those of you who were waiting on pins and needles for this answer, Swift herself was actually not at the game.
