The Dallas Cowboys made the decision to ink kicker Tristan Vizcaino to a contract as insurance following the inexplicable struggles by Brett Maher during their postseason game earlier this year against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And now, he'll be sticking around for next year as well.

Meanwhile, Maher is slated to become a free agent.
Maher's struggles against the Buccaneers not only drew heavy scrutiny from the social media world, but also from both Eli and Peyton Manning as well as Texas governor Greg Abbott and Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson. It wasn't like this for Maher during the regular season, as he converted 90.6% of his field goal attempts and 94.3% of his extra point attempts.
