The Dallas Cowboys have announced that guard Josh Ball will not be available for at least the next two months, meaning that there stands a chance they could look to the outside to bring in a replacement for the time being.
The third year Cowboys player suffered a soft tissue injury in his hip and groin area during their pre-season victory over the Las Vegas Raiders at AT&T Stadium, and that an MRI after the game confirmed the diagnosis.
Head coach Mike McCarthy confirmed the unfortunate news earlier today, sayin that Ball "has suffered a significant multiweek injury. That is the early diagnosis."
Ball, who was taken in the 4th round, already missed his rookie season thanks to injury.
