Pittsburgh Steelers safety Damontae Kazee was seen with a walking boot after suffering an injury during training camp this week, and it’s certainly a frustrating reality of the profession that injuries can occur like this.
For Kazee, it’s especially frustrating since he’s such a passionate player, and he absolutely loves to play football for the Steelers.
“It’s frustrating,” Kazee said. “I love football. Coach T knows that too. I have one speed out there. I have to tell him, you have to tell me to stop. It’s only the first week of camp. End of the day, you got to be careful out there.”
The good news is that despite having the walking boot, the injury doesn’t exactly appear to be of the serious variety.
Here’s hoping that he’s back out on the field soon and isn’t forced to miss any significant playing time!
