This year officially marked the end of an era for the Seattle Seahawks, as head coach Pete Carroll officially moved on from the franchise that he led to a pair of Super Bowl appearances with one championship along with five division championships in 14 years on the job.
Could his former defensive coordinator in Dan Quinn, who is currently employed with the Dallas Cowboys, be on his way back to the Pacific Northwest as a replacement? He's already conduced a virtual interview with the Seahawks along with the Tennessee Titans, and now has in-person interviews scheduled with both teams.
Quinn is among the names listed as hot commodities for this offseason to potentially earn a head coaching job in the NFL, perhaps matched only by Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson.
Among the other reported candidates for the Seahawks coaching job include Carolina Panthers’ defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, Las Vegas Raiders’ defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, New York Giants’ offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, and Los Angeles Rams’ defensive coordinator Raheem Morris.
Quinn brings valuable head coaching experience to the table, having previously led the Atlanta Falcons, including their notable run to Super Bowl 51.
