Today is the deadline that all National Football League teams must be down to the 53-man limit, and while the Denver Broncos have already made another round of roster cuts, they've also swung a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles.
On his way to the City of Brotherly Love is tight end Albert Okwuegbunam, and in return they are receiving a 2025 6th round draft selection.
A 4th round draft pick of the Broncos in 2020, he missed his rookie season after suffering a torn ACL. His first NFL season in 2021 saw him appear in 14 games, hauling in 33 passes for 330 yards and two touchdowns. Last season, he was limited to appearing in only eight games, in which he caught ten passes for 95 yards and one single touchdown.
