Did Jerry Jones just insult Jimmy Johnson again?
Was this a low blow to the Cowboys legend?

It hasn't exactly been the smoothest of sailing when we're discussing the relationship between Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones and former Super Bowl-winning head coach Jimmy Johnson.
Johnson, who led the Cowboys to back to back Super Bowl wins in 1992 and 1993, departed Dallas after it was reported that he wanted more control over personnel decisions - something that Jones wasn't willing to relinquish. Johnson was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2020; however, he's yet to be inducted into the Cowboys Ring of Honor.
And based on the latest report, it doesn't sound as though Jones is eager to make any additions to the famed Ring of Honor. Take a look at this excerpt from Cowboys.com:
"As it stands atop the month of June, the Cowboys have no plans to induct a new name into the Ring of Honor in 2023. That might change, however, considering Jones also said he'll likely revisit the thought not long "into the year" due to team legend DeMarcus Ware being "front-and-center", i.e., set to join Jones in immortalization in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August."
