Eagles' A.J. Brown faced serious health risk at practice
Thankfully, he's no worse for wear now.
The Philadelphia Eagles continued their preparations for Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in downtown Detroit with their last practice of the week at NovaCare Complex before they depart for the Mitten State.
However, there was a health scare for one particular player of the team earlier today, as A.J. Brown was stung by a bee 15 minutes into the practice session, and required a quick EpiPen shot to counteract the sting’s effects.
"I'm all good," he told The Philadelphia Inquirer's Josh Tolentino.
Brown is entering his first season with the Eagles after being acquired in a trade with the Tennessee Titans that sent 1st and 3rd round picks back to Tennessee; the Eagles would subsequently sign Brown to a four year, $100 million extension.
