The Dallas Cowboys remain the favorites to land the services of free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who continues his recovery from offseason ACL surgery. He was wined and dined earlier this week by members of the Cowboys, which included court side seats to a Dallas Mavericks game.
But among the players absent at American Airlines Center on Monday was none other than running back Ezekiel Elliott, who of course is on record as saying that he wants OBJ to join the Cowboys.
He was asked about why he wasn't with his teammates at the Mavericks game during a recent media session, and it sounds like he didn't appreciate it very much.
“Damn, I can’t chill at the crib? If I went everywhere y’all would be on my ass about that," he exclaimed. "So which y’all want?”
The Cowboys, who are 9-3 and second overall in the NFC East division, take on the struggling Houston Texans this Sunday and will be looking for their 10th victory.
