The Dallas Cowboys inducted franchise icon DeMarcus Ware into their elusive Ring of Honor this afternoon during half-time of their game at AT&T Stadium against the Los Angeles Rams, but there was one notable faux pas from team owner and general manager Jerry Jones.
Jones accidentally referred to Ware as "DeMarcus Lawrence" before immediately correcting himself:
Ware set the all-time franchise record for sacks with the Cowboys with a total of 117 in nine seasons played. He would then take his talents to the Rocky Mountains, signing with the Denver Broncos with whom he would win Super Bowl 50. He was also named a Pro Bowler in 2014 and 2015.
