The Dallas Cowboys are officially welcoming back an old friend!
Offensive tackle La'el Collins is returning to the Cowboys, with whom he played 71 games over seven years before departing in 2022. He had been hosted by the team for a workout earlier today.
After spending a year with the Cincinnati Bengals, he suffered a torn ACL and started 2023 on Inured Reserve before being released.
"You can imagine that's probably the most sought-after asset anywhere this time of the year in the NFL, to find a productive offensive lineman," Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said on 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday morning. "They're rare in availability."
