He's one of the top receivers in NFL history and was honored with a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and now he's taking his talents to the television screen.

Former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is the newest addition to ESPN's “Monday Night Countdown,” the pregame show to “Monday Night Football. His first appearance on the show will be prior to Monday's game between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, and is reported to be making between five and seven scheduled broadcasts.

Having originally played collegiate football at the University of Pittsburgh, Fitzgerald was drafted by the Cardinals with the third overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft. He would go on to earn a whopping 11 Pro Bowl nominations, while currently being ranked second overall in NFL history in career receiving yards and career receptions. He also ranks 6th in NFL history in receiving touchdowns.
