Major blow to Jerry Jones and AT&T Stadium

As if having to go home early in the playoffs once again wasn't a bad enough disappointment for Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones, yet another setback has been announced.
Despite heavy lobbying, the 2026 World Cup Final will not be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the home of the Cowboys since 2009. Instead, it will be played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey - the dual home of both the New York Giants and New York Jets.
SoFi Stadium outside of Los Angeles, the home of the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, had also been in consideration to host the event.
And to say that Jones was disappointed would be an understatement:
