There was a frightening moment during last night's preseason game between the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers, as New England's Isaiah Bolden suffered a frightening injury and had to be stretchered off the field.
He ran head-first into a teammate and remained immobilized on the field as teammates gathered in support. Both teams then mutually agreed to call off the rest of the game.
The good news is that Bolden has since been released from the hospital, and tweeted the following message of thanks for all of the support and well wishes that he's received.
“Appreciate the prayers more excited to be back with the guys,” Bolden tweeted.
