NFL officially reduces suspension for Cowboys DT Trysten Hill
He'll only have to miss this Thursday's game against the Saints.
Defensive tackle Trysten Hill threw a punch at Rangers offensive lineman John Simpson following the 36-33 Cowboys loss, knocking his helmet off to the ground. Following a review by the NFL, Hill was suspended for the next two games on the Dallas schedule.
However, he's gotten an early Christmas gift from Santa. Following an appeal, the NFL reduced his suspension from two games to one:
He'll be eligible to return for his team's December 12 matchup against the Washington Football Team. The top draft pick in the 2nd round in 2019, Hill had just enjoyed his best game of the 2021 season so far with five tackles against the Raiders.
