O.J. Simpson takes a stab at Deshaun Watson's suspension
That's one sharp take from O.J. Simpson.
Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has officially been suspended for the first six games of the 2022 NFL season by NFL and NFL Players Association's jointly appointed disciplinary officer, Sue L. Robinson.
But of course, Watson isn't the only NFL figure who has attracted controversy. Perhaps the most infamous figure in NFL history when it comes to getting in trouble with the law offered his take on Watson's suspension. Notorious former Buffalo Bills RB and convicted felon O.J. Simpson cut in with his thoughts on the Watson suspension, saying the embattled quarterback must respect the decision:
Simpson spent 10 years in prison after being convicted of armed robbery and kidnapping in Las Vegas in 2008. He was also of course infamously acquitted for the brutal 1994 slayings of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman, for which he was the prime suspect.
