Patrick Mahomes brother arrested on charge of sexual battery

Last February, the brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was seen in a bar forcing a 40 year old woman to kiss him. 

Earlier today, Jackson Mahomes was arrested and taken into custody regarding this incident among others. According to the website Insidehook.com, he is facing three counts of aggravated sexual battery and a fourth of battery. 

As conditions of Mahomes’s release Wednesday, in addition to posting $100,000 bond, he is barred from using alcohol and illicit substances, subject to possible court-ordered testing, as well as firearms. He could know if he is found guilty as soon as May 11th. 

According to his lawyer, videos of him in that bar have been taken out of context and he hasn’t done anything wrong. Mahomes could face 55 months in jail if he’s found guilty.
