Should the Cowboys consider bringing him in?

The New York Jets have decided to part ways with running back Dalvin Cook after he's spent less than a year with the organization. And according to a report, the Dallas Cowboys could be interested in bringing him aboard.
According to Josina Anderson of CBS Sports, the Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens are said to be interested:
“We’ll see tomorrow if RB Dalvin Cook clears waivers following his departure from the #Jets. My understanding is one team that may have potential interest down the road on the practice squad is the Baltimore #Ravens, though they did not have a spot available this morning,” Anderson posted Wednesday on X.
Anderson would write the following in a subsequent message: “My understanding is that the Dallas #Cowboys will also consider potentially adding Dalvin Cook. Still evaluating.”
Cook racked up 214 yards on 67 carries during his time with the Jets. His best season came with the Minnesota Vikings in 2020, in which he racked up 1,557 yards and 16 touchdowns, while also racking up 361 yards on 44 catches.
Should the Cowboys be interested in acquiring Cook right before the playoffs?
