Report: Steelers have decided Mike Tomlin's fate
Are they making the right call?

It appears as though fans who are hoping that the Pittsburgh Steelers will decide to make a coaching change after this season will be disappointed.
According to multiple reports, the Steelers have evidently decided to retain long-time serving head coach Mike Tomlin with an extension.
"A lot of noise on the outside. Inside, it's business as usual," Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio said on the NBC pregame show leading up to kickoff of Steelers-Bengals. "They have no desire to make a change at coach. They have no reason to believe Tomlin wants to go. They actually would like to extend his contract, which runs through 2024. They'd like to get it done before next season begins. He's already involved in roster planning from this year and the year after."
Tomlin has never had a losing season as Steelers head coach. However, if the team loses two more games this season, it would confirm his first non-winning season on the job, which has now lasted the last 17 years.
Are the Steelers making the right call in apparently preparing to retain Tomlin even longer?
