The Pittsburgh Steelers officially have themselves a new quarterback.
It was reported late last night that former Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson was joining the Pittsburgh Steelers, and then, Wilson himself confirmed the news with a post on social media.
The deal is for one year and $1.21 million, which is the NFL minimum salary.
Wilson, who was just cut from the Denver Broncos after a disastrous two years, threw for a total of 3,070 yards and 26 touchdowns with just eight interceptions in the 2023 season. While many consider him to be washed, the fact is that he brings championship experience to Pittsburgh and can help to mentor Kenny Pickett.
