It was just over four months ago that the Pittsburgh Steelers decided to trade for veteran cornerback and former first-round pick William Jackson III from the Washington Commanders in exchange for a conditional 2025 sixth-round pick. However, that era in the Steel City is now officially over.
The Steelers announced yesterday that they were releasing him without him ever getting the chance to suit up in the Steelers colors:
