As if losing safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to injury wasn't enough, the Pittsburgh Steelers are now dealing with the possibility that they may have to play without quarterback Kenny Pickett.
Pickett was injured near the end of the 1st half of play today at a rainy Acrisure Stadium in what should have been a blatant roughing the passer penalty, yet no such flag was thrown by the officials.
He would be replaced by backup Mitchell Trubisky, and right now, we continue to await word about the status of Pickett, who is continuing to be evaluated as the 2nd half of play has begun.
UPDATE:
Pickett has returned to the sidelines, and is attempting to get loose by throwing a few footballs.
