Three time Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt has made the decision to call it a career in the National Football League after having played the majority of his career with the Houston Texans before having suited up for the Arizona Cardinals the last two years.
Of course, his brother T.J. Watt is the current reigning Defensive Player of the Year, and suits up for the Pittsburgh Steelers. And being the good brother that he is, he had a special message prior to his final game:
“Brother, I just wanted to say, congratulations on your retirement. You and your resiliency throughout all the ups and downs, you ending up in the NFL, and you being Defensive Player of the Year and you having all the successes that you had, showed me, that it’s possible,” T.J. said.
“Congrats on your retirement and Hall of Fame career. It’s been so special to have a front-row seat to it all and I couldn’t be more proud of you. Love you, bro.”
What a great moment!
