The WORST is confirmed for Cowboys WR Michael Gallup
This is a big blow for Dallas.
The bad news is that the Dallas Cowboys weren't able to defeat the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. The even worse news is that now they'll be without the services of wide receiver Michael Gallup for the remainder of the season.
According to team owner and general manager Jerry Jones, the team believes that Gallup has torn his ACL, meaning that his season would be over. An MRI is expected later today to confirm the diagnosis.
This will end what was a trying season for Gallup in terms of injury. The pending free-agent injured his calf in his team's opening season game against the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and didn't return to action until Week 10.
