Cowboys fans, brace yourselves! It looks as though quarterback Dak Prescott could soon have himself a brand new favorite target to catch his passes.
As it currently stands, the Cowboys are the odds-on favorite to land the services of free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who is currently recovering from ACL surgery. Right now, they're first overall in the OBJ sweepstakes with a 29% chance of landing him. The Green Bay Packers, who are Dallas' next opponent, are second with 25% odds. The New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams, whom he won the Super Bowl with last season, follow.
Team owner and general manager Jerry Jones seems to approve of the idea of Beckham Jr. joining his team!
"Odell is someone that we have all the appreciation in the world for what he is as a competitor," Jones explained earlier this morning during an interview on 105.3 The Fan. "I know the Cowboys star on that helmet when he puts it on could look pretty good.”
